Scents from KS Specialty Gifts


Our candles and reed diffusers have been a great success! In fact we have expanded our fragrances twice now.
Our candles are made of the highest quality of oils and waxes to make the best smelling and burning candle possible. They are a soy blend wax (85% soy) with lead free wicks for a cleaner burn. The test burns went for an average of 150 hours but many of you are reporting they are burning longer than that. Which is great!
The following fragrances are now available in candles: Cinn-o-bunn, Creme Brulee, Stress Relief, Ocean Mist, Banana Split with our two top sellers of Fudge brownie and Spiced Orange. Our holiday scent is Christmas Memories. We will have available soon: Patchouli and Sunflower. We also have wafer melts in all of the above fragrances, for use in melting pots.
We give $1.00 from each candle to St. Catherine's Hospice, for Cancer patients and their families here in Finney County.
Our Reed Diffusers are made with the highest quality of oils, also, so that they last longer and disperse the fragrance better into the air. They are refillable and the bottles are made of recycled glass.
The following fragrances are now available in the diffusers: Sandalwood, Stress Relief, Citrus, Flower Shop, Cinnamon with one of our newest Northwood Pine and our two holiday scents, Hollyberry and Pumpkin Spice.
We are working on new fragrances all of the time. Please tell us your favorite and we will add it to a running list that we keep. This helps us know the more popular scents and what you, our valued customers, are wanting.

· Close out on Happy Hippo Bath Company-prices start at $.75, while supplies last. We will not be carrying this line once it is gone.
· September 24th and 25th-Not advertised-Pantry Shelf products, 30% off all in stock inventory.
· September 20th– Market fest-we will have special guests along with samples of some of the product lines we carry.
· October 9th and 10th-All Leanin’ Tree cards, assortments and magnets are 20% off.
· October 16-Boss’ Day-pick up one of our gift mugs for that special Boss!
· October 31st-Not advertised-Bring your kids by the store, in costume, before closing (5:30) and we will have something special for them.


Suzy Toronto-Hottest New Item


Those of you that like to share laughs and giggles among others, you have to check out this new line! We haven’t even had this line for a month yet and we have place two orders for restock already! They were selling before they reached the shelves.
There are note cards, memo pads, luggage tags and t-shirts with great and funny sayings. Some of the sayings are: “Pretending to be a normal person day-after-day is exhausting”, “Life is all about how you handle Plan B”, “I am wearing my Big Girl Panties but they’re starting to bunch...OK!” and many more.
There are also many different matted, colorful sayings and poems for everyone in your life. Warning-some of them are tear jerker's! There are ones for moms, sons, daughters, in-laws, sisters, pink ribbon sisterhood and many more.
Also we have gotten in some of the colorful kozzies with Suzy Torontos fabulous sayings as well.


October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month


KS Specialty Gifts will donate 20% of the total sales from our “Scents by KS Specialty Gifts” to St. Catherine’s Hospice, for cancer patients and their families, here in Finney County.
ATTENTION: We always donate $1.00 from our candles but for the month of October it will include our wafer melts and reed diffusers as well!
Now is the time to stock up and get some for gifts, for a great cause!


Mailboxes by Chad, from Colorado Springs


Chad has been doing his fine artwork on vehicles for years now but just in the last couple of years he has started to expand his talent to specialized mailboxes.
He has a few of his mailboxes in the store with wild and colorful flames on them. If you are a fan of different and unique items-this is a must see!
Chad is known in Colorado Springs for his great body work and paint jobs.
Chad is willing to take special orders, although his specialty is flames and Nascar type designs.

We are proud to share our newly expanded KU and K-State items, you have to see the variety for yourself.
We now have Necklaces, bracelets, calendars with the team song that plays at a touch of a button, Christmas themed
team cards for the holidays, combination wallet/cell phone holders, plus much more.

Customer Appreciation Day

Our Customer Apprciation Day last Sunday was very successful.

I would like to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you that were able to make it. Some of you were even sweet enough to call or email me and let me know that you would not be able to make it. I hope that those of you that could not make will be able to make it to our next event!

We had Mary and Danny here from Bluff Creek Kitchen, sampling some of their goodies. Wonderful jellies, mustards and salsas!

Kathy was here with her beautiful jewlery. She is very talented as well!

Comfort Foods was not able to make it this time but we still had samples of their dips....YUM!
